The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has amended the National Company Law Tribunal Rules, 2016. These rules may be called the National Company Law Tribunal (Amendment) Rules, 2016. The amendment provide provisions for Presentation of Joint petition (Rule 23A), Multiple Remedies (Rule 38A), Application to cancel variation of rights under section 48(2) of the Companies Act, 2013 (Rule 68A) and Application for Re-opening of Account under section 130 of the Companies Act, 2013 (Rule 76A). They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has modified the e-Forms IEPF-5, CG-1, PAS-3, MSC-1, MGT-14 and AOC-4. The new version of e-Forms IEPF-5 (Application to the Authority for claiming unpaid amounts and shares out of Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF)), CG-1 (Form for filing application or documents with Central Government), PAS-3 (Return of allotment), MSC-1 (Application to Registrar for obtaining the status of dormant Company), MGT-14 (Filing of Resolutions and agreements to the Registrar) and AOC-4 (Form for filing financial statement and other documents with the Registrar) are available w.e.f. 24th December, 2016. Only new version of e-form will be acceptable and Stakeholders are requested to plan accordingly.
